Self-compassion is an evidence based skill that helps us respond to our struggles with kindness. According to psychologist Dr. Kristin Neff, it has three core elements: mindfulness, common humanity and self-kindness.
This course focuses on how we can use Self-compassion as a compass- approaching change, new opportunities, growth, outdated belief systems, and relationship with ourselves- with gentleness and curiosity. We weave together the Science, Art & Yogic philosophy of self-compassion. Each week will be a blend of practice through meditation, journaling, and creativity. The aim of this course is to develop your own self-compassion tool box, share and learn empathy, forgiveness and acceptance.
