Break down and explore headstand - feel comfortable, safe and confident in being upside down.
- £20 -
Sirshasana is considered the "the king of the positions' and one with the most benefits for the body.
It's a very refreshing, energising and also introspective position of classical yoga but at the beginning can look challenging mostly for the fear of being upside down and falling over.
Sirsharasana is one of those key positions that once learnt we never forget how to do it and that leads to all the other variations of arms balancing positions.
In this practical workshop we will break down and explore each element of this yoga position to help you understand how to achieve it, feel comfortable, safe and confident in being upside down. We will go through various drills, look at functional anatomy pertinent to this position and also work in pairs.
By the end of this workshop you will all have practiced a correct and safe headstand and leave with the confidence to make it part of your daily yoga practice and/or tools to refine and work on it.
This workshop is accessible to everyone keen to learn this amazing yoga position.
